I like reading stories about people going on grand adventures and this was no exception. The writing had a good flow and rhythm and I quite grew to like the author with all her issues or because of them. The story is quite different from thru-hikes on popular routes, etc, as the routes have already become quite familiar reading a lot of stories that happened on them. And also overcoming very different obstacles than just the usual outdoor difficulties was a worthy experience.
