Meetings take up a lot of time in the workplace of today and the time we spend in meetings seems to increase every year.
One to one meetings between managers and individual contributors have become popular way of leading organizations. There is a wast step going from being forced to spend time in an one to one meeting and doing one to one meetings in a way that is actually beneficial. This book can help managers with that and to a lesser degree inform individual contributors about what one to one meetings is all about. The science is however limited to drawing conclusions from questions asked from managers and people in big organizations.
I would recommend this book to managers that wish to improve their one to one meeting practice.
