This is the diary of a young Jewish girl whose family went into hiding from the Nazis in 1942 when she was thirteen years old. This document chronicles her life along with those of her family and the Van Pels family who shared their hiding place for a little over two years. The diary entries come to an end when both families were arrested in 1944 and sent to Auschwitz.

It's a Classic for a Reason

Never got assigned the book in school. It's way better than a diary by a 13-15 year old girl has any right to be. Like, extremely impressive how good it is. Anyway man, I'm real fried at the moment but it never hurts to remember that genocide is super bad and you shouldn't do it. You should also try to stop people from doing it as best you can. Seriously though, if you haven't read it, read the book.
