I confess I grabbed this off the shelf for two reasons - it was an audiobook (and I needed one) and I mistook the author for Patrick McManus, humorist outdoor writer. What I received in return was a well written book about poker and the characters of the competitive poker circuit, full of both anecdotes and humor. Oh, and also the murder of Ted Binion, owner of a huge vault of silver coins.
