Read this in July 2008, shortly after it came out, before the whole Twilight mania took off. Decent premise about an alien invasion of parasites and a few who resist the effects. Bizarre love triangle between human, parasite, and the human still fighting the parasite - the latter two in the same body. Unlike other parasite invasions, these parasites live to follow the rules, which was strange. Liked it, didn't love it, wasn't compelled to read Twilight.
