Getting results as a leader does not require sacrificing empathy

Scott gives a good primer on how to be a leader and manager in a way that does not sacrifice empathy for results and vice versa.

Radical Candor gives tools to care personally while being direct about expectations, successes, and failures.

Written largely in a Silicon Valley context, the book lacks insight on different cultures and locales, but I do think the overall framework of the book is applicable, though the road to Radical Candor might vary quite a bit between cultures for instance.

Easy read, not too dry, sticks to the topic well.
