Review of 'Red Queen' on 'Goodreads'

4 stars

Well narrated fantasy story that had me excited to go out on my walk to listen to the next chapter. The world we are introduced to is interesting and leaves you dreaming of all the possibilities, the strives, and its possible futures. I liked the characters and their development, but they might have been a little predictable. The predictability might be the story’s only failure. Although I must admit that the author had me second guess myself, in the end the story developed ended exactly the way that I expected and the big reveals were never much of a surprise. All in all a good listen (or read) for people that enjoy a traditional fantasy story in a nice new jacket.
