In the end, this is all about whether you say "no" or "yes", and what happens then. It's also very much about the history, and how what we know about it is a lot based on trusting that the people who've written it down have made a good job. That is unfortunately far from guaranteed, as lies and misunderstandings become the new truth quickly when the citations pile up on them.
